your beautiful.....

I heard jamie blunts cooning through the radio at least 6 times today as i drove the 200 miles to my brother's house and back... at the least oppertune moment when i watch rob drive away.

The morning was an interesting one... seeing rob espeically the new independent i'm now handleing responsibilty and instead of running away from it was interesting rob. He knows he's got to clean up his act and get back with God which is the beginning of an answer to hundreds of prayers. We just spent the first hour where niether of us really stopped smiling and saying wow it really has been too long! I was very surprised at how he looked, last time i saw him he was grungy with a fag in his mouth, and definatly looked incredibly hung over. Today he made the effort looking tired since he got up early to see me, and a bit of stubble, but his clothes were clean, his hair styled and his blue/green eyes clear It felt like the first time in three and half years i had the old rob back. So after a warm goodbye we decieded to never loose touch again and that we needed to meet up a couple more times before i go.

I decided to add this photo of when rob and i were 16 and i went away for the weekend with his family for his 16th birthday. Just found it and it made me talk a little walk through memory lane.We both look alot older now!


I have the most beautiful nephews in the world and they remember me!!!!!!!!!! Spent the day with my brother's family. Practiced my spanish with my sister in laws parents who speake no de inglish. Ate colombian food, debated with my brother over theological issues and drove alot of miles.

I have a new favorite radio show a very random one called Delilah, the woman who dj's has people call in with warm fuzzy stories and then matchs songs with them. Its so american cheesy feel good i love it!!!
